UB1 UCCNC - Solenoid Diode
« on: October 12, 2022, 05:39:32 AM »
I am trying use diodes on the solenoids I have on my machine. The solenoids are connected to k1 and k2 relays. When I have the diodes in place UCCNC loses connection. What I am doing wrong? It is a 1N4007 diode.

It is recommended to put the solenoid/flyback diode right on the relay socket by connecting *cathode lead (marked) point to 24V and the anode lead to Yxxx of the UB1 board.

The 1N4007 works fine in most situations.

*If you put the diode in the wrong direction, that will damage the UB1 output.

Could you draw it on here. I really don't want to mess up my board.

I come with two versions. Hope that they will answer your question.
