Setting up ESS and MB3
« on: January 28, 2021, 07:43:28 PM »
Hi, Everyone.
I am Steve Harris and I live in England (UK)
I am new to CNC and am trying to get a Denford Triac milling machine up and running.
Most of the hardware is in place with some wiring to do.  I have a warp9 ethernet smoothstepper and have just taken delivery of an MB3 breakout board.
My electronics knowledge is limited so I will probably post a lot of questions in order to get the machine running.
Should I assemble the ESS and MB3 and do all the configuring together or keep them seperate ??
Also I have two power supplies, 5Volt and 24Volt.  Will I use both or should I let the MB3 power the ESS as mentioned in the the text.
Regards.  Steve Harris
